Specialists of the Kazan Search and Rescue squad, a branch of the Volga Search and Rescue squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, held an open day for pupils of the school camp. The younger students of the lyceum "Algorithm" who arrived began to listen with interest to tips on safe behavior at home and in nature. Rescuers showed the young guests how, with what and on what they work. The children learned how the cynological service of the detachment works, looked at where and how service dogs live, what they are fed and how they are prepared to search for people.
A four-legged lifeguard of the Drathaar breed named Gretta completely captured the attention of children and conquered them with her kindness and affection for people. The guys studied special equipment, equipment and emergency rescue tools. There was simply no limit to the delight of boys and girls!
