A meeting of veterans of the three republics was held in Yoshkar-Ola
Veterans of three neighboring republics (Mari El, Tatarstan and Chuvashia) have a good tradition of visiting each other. On June 16, 2023, people who have given many years of their lives to the fire protection and civil defense system met on the hospitable Mari land.
As part of the official part of the event, the guests of honor met with Mikhail Vasyutin, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Mari El. Mikhail Zinovievich stressed the importance of such meetings, during which veterans not only communicate with each other, but also help the younger generation to get acquainted with the profession of a firefighter and its features, as well as develop patriotic sentiments among young people.
The long-awaited meeting began on Lenin Square in the city of Yoshkar-Ola.
After that, the communication of veterans continued over lunch. The collective "Dry Sleeves", formed by experienced firefighters from Mari El, delighted colleagues with songs about the service of firefighters. The guests also performed in front of the audience with various numbers.
