SISV inspectors regularly identify violators among owners of small vessels during raids

9 June 2023, Friday

Employees of the Kazan inspection Department of the Center for State Inspection of Small Vessels of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan conducted another patrol of the water area near the confluence of the Volga and Kazanka rivers today. On the way inspectors met a lot of boatmasters on small vessels and almost every second had a reason for a "conversation" on the part of representatives of the supervisory authority.
The main scourge revealed today during the raid is the negligent attitude to their own safety of both shipowners and their passengers. Few people wear a life jacket. The fine for this violation ranges from 500 to 1000 rubles.
Quite a lot of complaints from citizens are also received by owners of jet skis who allow themselves to take water walks at high speed in places where people rest near the water, which is strictly prohibited. Moreover, even owners of small vessels complain about "reckless drivers". They drive in the dark, they may come across a boat, create an unexpected wave.
