The first fire station, specially built for volunteer firefighters, was inaugurated in Zelenodolsk district
The grand opening of the fire station of the volunteer fire brigade "Bolshye Klyuchi" took place today in the village of Bolshye Klyuchi, Zelenodolsk district. Honorary guests of the ceremony were the head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant General of the Internal Service Rafis Khabibullin, the head of the Zelenodolsk municipal District Mikhail Afanasyev and others, as well as villagers.
The depot building is capital, built according to modern technology, there is a gas boiler and water supply. The warm box can accommodate two fire trucks. There are comfortable changing rooms and other amenities.
There are now more than 900 volunteer fire brigades in the republic with a total of more than 3,000 people. They annually extinguish about 6% of fires on their own.
Rafis Khabibullin presented the medal of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia "For the promotion of rescue work" to the head of the Zelenodolsk municipal district Mikhail Afanasyev for his work on improving the activities of the volunteer fire protection of the Zelenodolsk fire and Rescue garrison.
