The final stage of the15th republican competitions of non-stuff rescue formations of the civil defense took place in Zelenodolsk in the base of ‘Mayak’ sports center. More than 230 workers of enterprises, who performed in roles of unprofessional radiomen, scouts and medics, demonstrated their skills that are necessary during elimination of emergency situations in war and peace. They were attended by 18 teams from 8 cities of Tatarstan, who represented various industrial enterprises of the republic. In overall score, the civil defense formations of the city of Zelenodolsk won the first place.

On September 17, 2017 at 11.30 AM, there will be thanksgiving service in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior before the icon of the Mother of God, ‘Burning Bush’ with the participation of EMERCOM of Russia, which will be broadcasted in the mode of video conference. The thanksgiving services in Tatarstanian churches will be attended as well by employees of departments of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM of Tatarstan.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 36 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 12, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 13. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 2 fires: residential sector – 2.
