"School of Safety" again gathers the most courageous, hardy and brave ones
A year and a half later, children's competitions "School of Safety" were resumed in the republic again. Representatives of 8 teams from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Bugulma, Chistopol, Sarman, Vysokogorsk and Alekseevsk districts arrived at the long-awaited 16th training camp. According to the already established tradition, the schoolchildren set up their tent camp on the basis of the health and educational complex for children "Baitik" in the Vysokogorsky district.
Young tourists spend time in their tents in the clearing during the day, and spend the night in the warm buildings of the children's camp "Baitik". Participants also have breakfast and lunch in the administrative building. And dinner at the campground.
First, the opening ceremony of the republican competitions "School of Security" took place. The participants went to the honorary formation. As the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan noted, the main feature of these starts is to once again consolidate the acquired knowledge on the subject of the basics of life safety, tourist sections, thematic circles on actions in difficult and extreme situations.
The "School of Security" competitions are held in several stages, these are municipal, republican, regional and all-Russian levels, Five years ago the competitions received the status of international. The winning team of the republican stage will go to defend the honor of Tatarstan at the regional competitions of the Volga region.
On the first day of the competition, the teams had to pass a short distance-an "Obstacle course". In fact, the obstacle course is just a warm – up for the next stages, and there are more than a dozen of them. These are combined strength exercises, passing the most difficult route of survival, conducting search and rescue operations.
Students will be able to complete their difficult power and creative marathon only next Saturday. On this day, the awarding ceremony of the winners and prize-winners of the competitions will take place and the closing ceremony will take place.
