The flag of the EMERCOM at the start of the "Cross of the Nation"
Employees of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan went to the start of the All-Russian race "Cross of Nations". In Nizhnekamsk, 56 runners representing all 14 fire and rescue units of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Divisions for the Republic of Tatarstan took part in mass races.
Firefighters adequately ran a distance of 3 km long. At the finish line, their athletes were met by colleagues who unfurled departmental flags of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In total, according to the organizers, more than 8 thousand Nizhnekamsk residents took part in the traditional autumn cross-country!
The Cross of the Nation is the most popular sports event on the territory of the Russian Federation, it has been held since 2004. Its main goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle and attract Russian citizens to physical culture classes.
