The working group of the EMERCOM of Russia checks the readiness of firefighters and rescuers to ensure the safety of the First Commonwealth of Independent States Games in Kazan
The First Games of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be held in Kazan from September 4 to 11, 2021, and the International Sports Forum "Russia - a sports power"will be held from September 8 to 10. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia participate in ensuring the safety of these events.
During the visit to the venues of the Games, representatives of the working group of the central office of the EMERCOM of Russia pay special attention to checking the duty of responsible officials of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan at joint security points, as well as in places where temporary fire and rescue posts are on duty.
Recall that the opening ceremony of the first Games of the CIS countries will be held tomorrow, September 4 at 19 o'clock on the Alley of Flags in the Village of the Universiade. Athletes from 10 countries will take part in the competition. 1,273 athletes and 413 team officials, 1,074 volunteers, 455 judges and referees are expected to participate in the Games. Competitions will be held in 16 sports. During the competition, 17 main facilities will be involved, including: 10 sports facilities, 3 main accommodation facilities for participants, 3 transport infrastructure facilities and 1 auxiliary one.
