On the festive day, Zelenodolsk firefighters organized a First-grader's Day for children
Open days and excursions for children have long become traditional in the fire and rescue units of Zelenodolsk. Whole groups and classes come to visit the firefighters. Today, on the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Day of the Zelenodolsk City, the employees of the 8th fire and rescue squad organized a holiday for the children of their employees and invited everyone who goes to school for the first time on September 1.
Most of the guys know about the work of firefighters. After all, their parents work in the service "01". They extinguish fires, rescue people from smoke and fire, remove victims from mangled cars. The children were able to learn more about the service of their parents at the First-grader's Day.
With a sightseeing tour, the children were taken through the premises of the unit, clearly explained how the combat days of the guards on duty are held. First-graders were able to sit at the training desks of firefighters, try on personal respiratory protection equipment. Young viewers were shown a training camp and an alarm departure and told about the fire equipment available in the arsenal of modern firefighters.
All first-graders were presented with gifts, diplomas and memos on fire safety. And at the end of the holiday, everyone could sit behind the wheel of a real ATV of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and take a photo for memory.
