Meeting of Tatarstan firefighters from a business trip to Mordovia
Today, at noon, the airmobile group of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan returned to Kazan. For two weeks, 46 firefighters and 8 pieces of equipment extinguished forest fires, preventing the fire from approaching the village of Rosstanye, the Republic of Mordovia.
Thanks to the coordinated work of the airmobile groups of the EMERCOM of Russia, it was possible to reduce the area of active fire of forest fires in the reserve. Now the edge of the forest area is being spilled in certain areas where smoldering is observed, as well as extinguishing individual fire foci.
The main efforts of the EMERCOM forces of Russia are aimed at preventing the spread of fire to populated areas.
After a short rest, all the firefighters who arrived from Mordovia will resume combat duty as part of the guard.
