Pupils of the school of fire and rescue sports of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan won gold and silver at the most prestigious tournament among boys and girls.
The World Cup was held from August 9 to 15 in Croatia. The national teams of 9 countries competed in the skill: Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, India, Latvia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Estonia. As part of the youth national team of the Russian Federation, three pupils of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Management of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan"performed. Murat Akhmetov won a gold medal in the 4x100 relay and a silver in the combat deployment, Milana Yurtayeva showed the second result in overcoming the 100-meter obstacle course, Veronika Sterlikova, together with her teammates, was awarded a silver medal in the team competition. The athletes are coached by Oleg Yudin and Vyacheslav Kozlov.
The champion of the tournament was the Czech national team, the bronze medalist was the team of Belarus.
The World Championship ended the competitive season in fire and rescue sports. The new one starts in November. In the meantime, our young athletes will take part in track and field starts and autumn cross-country races.
