On the afternoon of August 4, 2021, a strong heat to +37 С˚ is expected in the east of the Republic of Tatarstan. "
The main Department of EMERCOM of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan recommends:
1. Limit the exit from buildings, stay indoors, do not leave children unattended.
2. Take shelter in underground passages or building entrances. Do not hide from the strong wind near the walls of houses, at public transport stops, in buildings under construction.
3. Stay away from billboards, signage, road signs, power lines.
4. Beware of large trees, and also do not park your own transport next to them.
5. It is deadly dangerous to stand under a power line in a strong wind and stay near the broken electrical wires.
7. Close the windows tightly, take away objects from balconies and loggias that may fall out.
8. Stay as far from windows as possible in a residential or work place.
9. If you are caught by storm being on your own transport, stop driving and wait out the storm
10. If you are in an open area during the storm, it is recommended to lie down on the ground, if possible in a low place. It is important that there is no river, lake or pond near you, because water is a good current conductor of a lightning strike.
