The Sports Palace meets all the requirements of fire safety for holding Special Sports competitions
Today, the participants of the All-Russian Special Winter Sports Contest held their first training sessions at the Kazan Sports Palace, where the short track figure skating competitions will begin tomorrow. Fire safety of the ice arena during the Games is provided by the employees of the department of supervisory activities for the city of Kazan. On the eve of the grand opening, the SFS inspectors once again inspected the competition venue for compliance with fire safety requirements.
After inspecting fire hydrants, condition of fire extinguishers, as well as the layout and state of emergency exits, emergency workers found no violations. Visual inspection of the stands and other premises of the Sports Palace also revealed no shortcomings.
As part of the All-Russian Spartakiad Special Olympics in Winter Sports, from 3 to 8 February 2021, the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan organized the work of the operational headquarters to ensure security during the preparation and holding of the Spartakiad.
