Water doesn't forgive mistakes. On Vyatka, the search for two men who left by boat continues

22 April 2020, Wednesday

On April 11, at 15.41 on 112, a report was received about the disappearance of two men born in 1997, who left Mamadysh on the Vyatka river to test the motor on a dark-green duralumin boat. Since then, we haven't been in touch, and our friends have been searching for the missing on their own, but they haven't been able to find them. Both men's phones are not available.
During these days, from early morning until dark, rescuers and SISV inspectors, police officers and volunteers conducted a visual inspection of the scene and the left and right shoreline of the Vyatka river. The bottom was examined by trawling from boats. They made diving descents to search under water, surveyed the water area with the help of a geolocation device, and looked at the recordings from CCTV cameras installed on the bridge over the river. Vyatka. Items were found that were identified by relatives as belonging to the missing.
In the morning of April 22, search operations were continued by a group of 24 people and 2 pieces of equipment, 5 watercraft from ZSRU#5, the SISV Center, police officers and volunteers.

Recall that before entering the water, the skipper of a small vessel must:

- check the serviceability of the vessel and its mechanisms;

- timely conduct technical inspection of the vessel (once every five years);

- check the availability of necessary equipment, life-saving equipment and other supplies in accordance with established standards.

- observe the permitted distance from the shore and the height of the wave, i.e. you must get information about upcoming weather conditions.

- have means of communication with you, warn your family about the place of intended fishing or recreation.
