According to the plan of the exercise, as a result of a short circuit of the electrical wiring, there was a fire in the computer science office on the second floor. There was a strong smoke in the corridor of the second and third floors, on the flight of stairs. The duty watchman reports to the fire Department, turns on the fire alarm sound. Teachers and school employees, hearing a sound signal, open emergency exits, immediately begin to evacuate students.
Fire and tactical exercises in Zelenodolsk schools are conducted regularly, and therefore the actions of children and teachers are worked out to automatism. All together put on protective bandages and evacuate through the main and emergency exits from the building. All are built on the school Playground. Teachers recalculate and report to the school principal about the number of children evacuated. Four people are missing.
The natural result of the exercise was that everyone was saved and the fire was extinguished. However, the real fire at the school is really an emergency. And not only the success of fire fighting, but also the most important thing - the lives of children-depends on the coherence and efficiency of the firefighters ' actions and their precise decisions in such a situation. Preventing tragic consequences in the event of a real fire is perhaps the main task of such training.
