Firefighters of the 1st group conducted training on extinguishing a fire in a tank with petroleum products
More than 40 personnel of the fire rescue and life support service and 11 units of fire equipment оf the first detachment of the Federal fire service were involved today in the control and verification fire-tactical exercises, which ended in Nizhnekamsk. All training questions were worked out at the training ground оf the first group of FPS in RT.
According to the tactical plan of the exercise, when conducting fire-hazardous works by the organization of LLC "Chem-Pribor" for washing out bottom sediments, there was a cotton of steam-air mixture inside a vertical steel tank with a volume of 1000 cubic meters, followed by a fire and the release of burning oil in the collapse of the tank.
At the end of the training event, the work of the new modern mobile compression foam system CAFS, which is designed to extinguish small areas of fire, was demonstrated. The operation of the system has been demonstrated in practice when extinguishing a passenger car.
