23 January 2020, Thursday

Fire investigation is one of the most difficult tasks in the investigation of accidents and crimes. The fire destroys all traces, destroys the original situation at the scene, hides the necessary evidence for the investigation. The task of the investigator is not only to find the cause of the fire, but also to identify those responsible for its occurrence.

In 2019, the bodies of inquiry of the State fire supervision of the Republic of Tatarstan received more than 14 thousand reports of crimes and other incidents related to fires. 426 materials of checks on reports concerning arson and fires with loss of life were transferred to the internal Affairs bodies and the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, 2224 decisions were made to refuse to initiate criminal proceedings.

An investigator is one of the participants in criminal proceedings on the part of the prosecution, who is authorized to carry out investigations of crimes in the form of an inquiry. An investigator is a profession that requires complete dedication. An employee of the inquiry, when communicating with a less well-off contingent, is obliged to conduct an investigation in the case within the time limit established by law.

During the investigation, the investigative bodies of the SFS of EMERCOM of Russia interact with the departments of interior, Prosecutor's office, Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and bodies of state power.

In 2019, there were no complaints from citizens and officials about the actions of investigators of the state supervision service of Tatarstan, largely due to the fact that the work of the inquiry bodies is built in accordance with the principles of respect for human and civil rights and freedoms, as well as legality and humanism.
