After the 1917 revolution, the new government attached great importance to the issue of creating a new state fire protection. Already on April 17, 1918, the Decree 'On the organization of state measures to combat fire' was issued and signed by Vladimir Lenin. From that day, the Soviet fire service, which became the successor of the Russian fire service, keeps its history. After the civil war, the equipping of the fire service with new equipment began. By the mid-30s, the equestrian thrust in fire brigades had gone into history.
