Incidents as of January 17:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 46 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 10, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 0, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, including 6 in the residential sector, outhouses – 3, vehicles – 1. 2 people were injured, 1 person was saved.

Causes: violation of fire safety rules during electrical household appliance use – 2, violation of vehicle use rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 4, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 2, violation of fire safety rules during welding works – 1, violation of gas equipment installation rules – 1.

Rides of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 6 times.

Rides of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Rides of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 6 times. Including: door unlocking – 2, traffic accidents – 2, others – 2. Preventive works – 2.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan Warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave powered on electrical and gas devices unattended.

Remember! A fire does not occur by itself.  Its cause is the human negligence and carelessness use of fire. A drunk person loses control of oneself and one’s actions, and all the more cannot bear any responsibility for another person's life.
