Preparations for the spring flood under the control of the Government of the Republic
Measures for safe passage of the spring flood in the Republic of Tatarstan discussed today in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic during the scheduled meeting of the Republican Commission on prevention and elimination of emergency situations and fire safety. The theme of the meeting: "on the readiness of the Territorial subsystem of RSES to implement measures for the passage of melt water and take measures to prevent and mitigate the consequences of possible emergencies associated with the spring flood."
This year, spring can bring its own surprises. Dangerous water levels are expected on the rivers of Aksubayevo, Alekseevsk, Alkeevsk, Kaibitsk, Zelenodolsk, Novosheshminsk, Nurlat and Chistopol municipal districts.
Closer to dangerous water levels are expected on the rivers, which flow in the territory of Arsk, Buinsk, Vysokogorsk, Kukmor, Laishevo, Mamadysh, Pestretsy, Tyulyachi, Sabinsk municipal districts and in Kazan.
Given these circumstances, the flood of this year is expected under a tense scenario. These areas need to go into high alert mode from the end of March, as the opening of the rivers is projected to 1-2 days earlier than normal. And in the event of flooding, go to the state of emergency.
