About measures on safety of children during the autumn and winter periods on water objects

The frequent cases of death of people in water including children, during autumn compel public authority to strengthen preventive work among the population. The instructions «About work activization on children safety during the autumn winter period» have arrived from a management of the Ministry on affairs of a civil defense and emergency situations of Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of Republic of Tatarstan from 9.10.2009 and 14.10.2009. About danger is represented by fragile ice and what are necessary measures for rescue the man who has failed in ice water, experts of Central administrative board of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Republic of Tatarstan and rescuers of Search and rescue group at Management of civil protection of the Kazan executive committee have told and have shown today to pupils of the Kazan school 165 during a practical training.

To children it have told, not strong ice can be so artful, so tragical consequences levity and prank can turn back. And it is final, to schoolboys it have reminded that it is better not to risk and not to play on ice, anyway until hard frosts will strike. During employment educational films by behavior rules on ice have been shown.

The second part of a practical training passed in a schoolyard. There experts of Search and rescue group at Management of civil protection of the Kazan executive committee acquainted pupils with ways of safety on ice and what to do at sudden descent of an avalanche. Rescuers have shown how faster and more safely to get the person out of the water, what is necessary to render first aid and how to rescue from freezing. Employees of the MES have patiently answered all interesting questions of children during personal contact. Rescuers have explained how to throw a rope to suffered man and how to use a scarf, a belt, a board for rendering assistance to the person who has got trouble.

That the necessary information on safety has more strong settled in children's heads, teachers give also explanatory talks with parents of pupils which once again should warn children against danger.
