Currently, the Ministry of the Russian Federation for civil defense, emergencies and elimination of consequences of natural disasters has received frequent appeals from the Executive authorities, organizations and citizens in order to apply the provisions of SS R 58202-2018 "Production services. Personal protective equipment for people in case of fire. Rules and regulations of placement and operation. General requirements " (further - GOST 58202-2018).
In order to clarify the issues arising, as well as to establish a uniform procedure for the application of fire safety requirements, it is reported that this document in accordance with the Federal law of 29.06.2015 No. 162-FZ "on standardization" is used exclusively on a voluntary basis.
Failure to comply with the requirements of SS R 58202-2018 cannot be qualified by the Supervisory authorities of the EMERCOM of Russia as a violation of mandatory requirements.
