Planned Works on Preparation for the Flood Period Are Carried Out in Kazan

Today Kazan rescuers and the Department of Civil Protection at the Executive Committee of the city of Kazan began to carry out planned actions aimed at reduction of negative consequences in the flood period. The Commission examined the condition of the reclamation pond near the village of Chebaksa of Soviet District of Kazan, and the Kazan rescuers together with the employees of the city water channel carried out the cleaning of the headwalls of culverts from ice and snow and checked the throughput of a pipe that is located under water.
